Every cave needs a bat, but the Nutty Putty Cave has none. So to remedy our batless condition we have adopted “Nutty The Weather Bat” as our official flying mammal. We have also dubbed him as “The Official Bat of the Nutty Putty Cave.”

Our flying mammal of the order Chiroptera has the special skill set to be able to identify the weather for all of those weary cavers who have been subterranean too long. As you enter the cave, you can gently leash “Nutty The Weather Bat” to your vehicle’s antenna and when you emerge above ground once again, “Nutty The Weather Bat” with be able to let you know what the weather was like while you were exploring underground.
